About Krishak Bandhu (KB) Prakalpa:-
The Department of Agriculture, Government of West Bengal has introduced the "Krishak Bandhu Scheme (KBS)" on 1st January, 2019 to support farmers financially during pre-production stage to make agriculture profitable for the farmers and to provide them social security so that their families are not put to distress in the event of farmer‟s untimely demise. The scheme is to be implemented with
effect from 01.01.2019. The „Krishak Bandhu‟ scheme has two components viz. Krishak Bandhu (Assured Income) component and the Krishak Bandhu (Death Benefit) component. The benefit of the scheme will be extended to all the farmers of the State including the recorded Bhagchasi (Share cropper).Financial Assist for KB:-
In Krishak Bandhu (Assured Income) scheme every farmer will be eligible to get financial support of Rs. 5000/- per year per acre of land owned payable in two equal instalments i.e. @ Rs. 2500/- (Kharif & Rabi) . The maximum financial assistance will be Rs.5000-/ only per farmer per year. Farmers having less than 1.0acre of land will be eligible for assistance on pro rata basis subject to a minimum of Rs. 2000/- per farmer per year. All farmers having cultivable land and possessing RoR are eligible for getting assistance underthis scheme. Recorded Bhagchasi will also be eligible to get the benefit.
কৃষকবন্ধু প্রকল্প কি?
কৃষি বিভাগ, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার 1লা জানুয়ারী, 2019 তারিখে "কৃষকবন্ধু প্রকল্প" চালু করেছে যাতে কৃষকদের জন্য কৃষিকে লাভজনক করতে এবং তাদের সামাজিক নিরাপত্তা প্রদানের জন্য প্রাক-উৎপাদন পর্যায়ে কৃষকদের আর্থিকভাবে সহায়তা করতে। কৃষকের অকালমৃত্যুতে পরিবারগুলোকে কষ্ট দেওয়া হয় না। এই স্কিমটি 01.01.2019 থেকে কার্যকর করা হবে৷ "কৃষকবন্ধু" প্রকল্পের দুটি উপাদান রয়েছে যথা। কৃষকবন্ধু (নিশ্চিত আয়) উপাদান এবং কৃষকবন্ধু (মৃত্যু সুবিধা) উপাদান। নথিভুক্ত ভাগচাসি (শেয়ার ক্রপার) সহ রাজ্যের সমস্ত কৃষককে এই প্রকল্পের সুবিধা প্রসারিত করা হবে।

কৃষকবন্ধু এর জন্য আর্থিক সহায়তা :-
5000/- প্রতি একর জমির মালিকানাধীন প্রতি বছর দুটি সমান কিস্তিতে প্রদেয় অর্থাত্ @ Rs. 2500/- (খরিফ ও রবি)। সর্বোচ্চ আর্থিক সহায়তা হবে Rs.5000-/ প্রতি বছর প্রতি কৃষক। এক একরের কম জমি আছে এমন কৃষকরা ন্যূনতম প্রতি বছর প্রতি কৃষক 2000/-
