WBSCC Student Credit Card:
The Honorable Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has launched the “Student Credit Card Scheme” on 30 June, 2021, As she Promised in her TMC manifesto. The Students can get a loan of maximum Amount of Rs.10 lakh with interest rate of 4% simple interest per annum for their continue Higher Education. WB Students Credit Card Scheme is
designed to support the students for their higher education i.e. secondary, higher secondary, madrasah, undergraduate and post graduate studies including professional degree and other equivalent courses in any School, Madrasah, College, University and other affiliated institutes within and outside India. The students, Who are studying in various coaching centre or institution for appearing in different competitive examinations like Engineering, Medical, Law, IAS, IPS, WBCS etc., can also avail the loan under this scheme.Eligibilty Criteria for WB Student Credit Card :-
1)The Students Must be residence of West Bengal.
2) The students must an Indian national to be eligible for the scheme.
3) Minimum age of Students should be 18 years and Upper age Limit is 40 Years.
4)Financial condition of students should Good Cibil.
Repayment: –
Repayment period shall be fifteen (15) years for any loan availed under this Credit Card including the Moratorium/ repayment holiday.
Where can be use this Credit Card?
The Credit Card can be used following expense i.e.
(1)The Credit Card can be use for payment of Colleges Fee and Hostel Fee
Colleges Fee:- Examination Fee, Laboratory Fee.
(2) The Credit Card can be use for Purchase of books/ equipment / instruments / uniforms and Purchase of computer at a reasonable cost, if required for completion of the course
(3)Any other expense required to complete the course – like study tours, project work, etc.
স্টুডেন্ট ক্রেডিট কার্ডের জন্য কি কি যোগ্যতা থাকতে হবে ?
1) ছাত্রদের অবশ্যই পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বাসিন্দা হতে হবে।
2) স্কিমের জন্য যোগ্য হতে ছাত্রদের অবশ্যই একজন ভারতীয় নাগরিক হতে হবে।
3) ছাত্রদের সর্বনিম্ন বয়স 18 বছর হতে হবেএবং উচ্চ বয়স সীমা 40 বছর।
4) শিক্ষার্থীদের আর্থিক অবস্থা ভালো সিবিল হওয়া উচিত।
কিভাবে স্টুডেন্টস ক্রেডিট কার্ডের লোন পরিশোধ করতে হবে ?
এই ক্রেডিট কার্ডের অধীনে গৃহীত ঋণের জন্য ঋণ পরিশোধের সময়সীমা পনেরো (15) বছর হবে যার মধ্যে মোরেটোরিয়াম/ পরিশোধের ছুটির দিন রয়েছে।
এই ক্রেডিট কার্ড কোথায় ব্যবহার করা যাবে?
ক্রেডিট কার্ড ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে নিম্নোক্ত খরচ যেমন
(1) কলেজ ফি এবং হোস্টেল ফি প্রদানের জন্য ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে
কলেজ ফি:- পরীক্ষার ফি, ল্যাবরেটরি ফি।
(২) ক্রেডিট কার্ডটি বই/সরঞ্জাম/যন্ত্র/ইউনিফর্ম কেনার জন্য এবং যুক্তিসঙ্গত মূল্যে কম্পিউটার কেনার জন্য ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে, যদি কোর্সটি শেষ করার প্রয়োজন হয়
(3)কোর্সটি সম্পূর্ণ করার জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় অন্য কোন খরচ - যেমন স্টাডি ট্যুর, প্রজেক্ট ওয়ার্ক ইত্যাদি।

1. Colour Photograph of the applicant and co-applicant / co-borrower
2. Signature of the student & Co-borrower / Guardian’s signature
3. Student’s AADHAR Card
4. Student’s Class 10th Board registration certificate (if no AADHAR card)
5. Guardian’s Address Proof
6. Admission Receipt
7. Student’s PAN Card
8. Guardian’s PAN Card
9. Relevant page of the brochure / document detaining course fee / tuition fee
