About Rupashree Prakalpa:
Rupashree Prakalpa is specially for economically stressed families at the time of their adult daughters’ marriages. Rupashree Prakalpa is aimed at mitigating the difficulties that poor families face in bearing the expenditure of their daughters’ marriages, for which they often have to borrow money at very high interest rates.

রূপশ্রী প্রকল্প বিশেষভাবে তাদের প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক মেয়েদের বিয়ের সময় অর্থনৈতিকভাবে চাপে থাকা পরিবারের জন্য। রূপশ্রী প্রকল্পের লক্ষ্য হল দরিদ্র পরিবারগুলি তাদের মেয়েদের বিবাহের ব্যয় বহন করতে যে অসুবিধার সম্মুখীন হয়, তার জন্য তাদের প্রায়শই উচ্চ সুদের হারে অর্থ ধার করতে হয়।

Eligibility Criteria
This scheme shall apply to any woman who proposes to be married if her application satisfies the following criteria:
- She has attained the age of 18 years AND is unmarried on the date of submitting her application.
- The proposed marriage is her first marriage.
- She was born in West Bengal OR she has been a resident of West Bengal for the last 5 years OR her parents are permanent residents of West Bengal.
- Her family income is not greater than Rs. 1.50 lakhs per annum.
- Her prospective groom has attained the age of 21 years.
- She has an active bank account for which she is the sole account-holder. The bank account must be in a bank that has an IFS Code and an MICR code and transacts e-payments though NEFT.
যোগ্যতার মানদণ্ড:-
এই স্কিমটি যে কোনও মহিলার ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য হবে যিনি বিবাহের প্রস্তাব করেন যদি তার আবেদন নিম্নলিখিত মানদণ্ডগুলি পূরণ করে:
- তিনি 18 বছর বয়সে পৌঁছেছেন এবং তার আবেদন জমা দেওয়ার তারিখে অবিবাহিত।
- প্রস্তাবিত বিয়ে তার প্রথম বিয়ে।
- তিনি পশ্চিমবঙ্গে জন্মগ্রহণ করেছেন বা তিনি গত 5 বছর ধরে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বাসিন্দা বা তার বাবা-মা পশ্চিমবঙ্গের স্থায়ী বাসিন্দা।
- তার পারিবারিক আয় বার্ষিক 1.50 লক্ষ টাকার বেশি নয়।
- তার সম্ভাব্য বর 21 বছর বয়সে পৌঁছেছে।
- তার একটি সক্রিয় ব্যাঙ্ক অ্যাকাউন্ট রয়েছে যার জন্য তিনি একমাত্র অ্যাকাউন্ট-ধারক৷ ব্যাঙ্ক অ্যাকাউন্টটি অবশ্যই এমন একটি ব্যাঙ্কে হতে হবে যার একটি IFS কোড এবং একটি MICR কোড রয়েছে এবং NEFT এর মাধ্যমে ই-পেমেন্ট লেনদেন করে৷
Documents Required for Rupashree Prakalpa:-
The following documents / certifications must be submitted along with the application form:
- Proof of applicant’s age: Self-attested photo-copy of any one of the following:Birth Certificate / Voter ID card / PAN Card / Madhyamik Admit card / AADHAR card / Primary School Leaving Certificate
- Never-married Status: Self-declaration on application form
- Family income: Self-declaration certified by a Competent Authority
- Proof of Residence: Self-Declaration certified by a Competent Authority
- Bank Account: Self-attested photo-copy of page of bank book which provides complete details of the account holder’s name, account no., bank address, IFSC code and other details
- Proof of proposed marriage: Any one of the following: Marriage Invitation Card / Notice for Registration of Marriage
- Proof of prospective groom’s age: Photocopy of any one of the following: Birth Certificate / Voter ID card / PAN Card / Madhyamik Admit card / AADHAR card / Primary School Leaving Certificate (attested by prospective spouse)
- Coloured passport size photographs of the applicant and the prospective groom.
রূপশ্রী প্রকল্পের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় নথি:-
আবেদনপত্রের সাথে নিম্নলিখিত নথি / শংসাপত্র জমা দিতে হবে:-
- আবেদনকারীর বয়সের প্রমাণ: নিম্নলিখিত যেকোন একটির স্ব-প্রত্যয়িত ফটোকপি: জন্ম শংসাপত্র / ভোটার আইডি কার্ড / প্যান কার্ড / মাধ্যমিক প্রবেশপত্র / আধার কার্ড / প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় ছেড়ে যাওয়ার শংসাপত্র
- অবিবাহিত ঘোষণা : আবেদনপত্রে স্ব-ঘোষণা
- পারিবারিক আয়: একটি উপযুক্ত কর্তৃপক্ষ দ্বারা প্রত্যয়িত স্ব-ঘোষণা
- বসবাসের প্রমাণ: একটি উপযুক্ত কর্তৃপক্ষ দ্বারা প্রত্যয়িত স্ব-ঘোষণা
- ব্যাঙ্ক অ্যাকাউন্ট: ব্যাঙ্ক বইয়ের পৃষ্ঠার স্ব-প্রত্যয়িত ফটো-কপি যা অ্যাকাউন্টধারীর নাম, অ্যাকাউন্ট নম্বর, ব্যাঙ্কের ঠিকানা, IFSC কোড এবং অন্যান্য বিবরণের সম্পূর্ণ বিবরণ প্রদান করে
- প্রস্তাবিত বিবাহের প্রমাণ: নিম্নলিখিতগুলির যে কোনও একটি: বিবাহের আমন্ত্রণপত্র / বিবাহ নিবন্ধনের জন্য বিজ্ঞপ্তি
- বরের বয়সের প্রমাণ: নিম্নলিখিতগুলির যে কোনও একটির ফটোকপি: জন্ম শংসাপত্র / ভোটার আইডি কার্ড / প্যান কার্ড / মাধ্যমিক প্রবেশপত্র / আধার কার্ড / প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় ছেড়ে যাওয়ার শংসাপত্র (সম্ভাব্য স্বামী / স্ত্রীর দ্বারা সত্যায়িত)

How to Apply?
The completed Application Form, along with all other necessary documents and certifications must be submitted to the Office of the Block Development Officer, Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer or Office of the Corporation Commission under which the applicant’s residence is located AND must be submitted not less than 30 days and not more than 60 days before the date of the proposed marriage.
কিভাবে আবেদন করতে হবে?
পূরণকৃত আবেদনপত্র, অন্যান্য সমস্ত প্রয়োজনীয় নথি এবং শংসাপত্র সহ ব্লক ডেভেলপমেন্ট অফিসারের অফিসে, মহকুমা আধিকারিকদের অফিসে বা কর্পোরেশন কমিশনের অফিসে জমা দিতে হবে। আবেদনপত্র জমা দিতে হবে প্রস্তাবিত বিবাহের তারিখের 30 দিন আগে এবং 60 দিনের বেশি আগে নয়।
